Why is the build failing?
The cheap questions got cheap answers. She asked them anyway.
The right question is the expensive one.
So she rationed.
Somewhere, someone was thinking out loud — and could afford to.
The one question that would free her cost more than she owned.
She was too poor to think her way out.
When thinking is metered, the poor ration their questions and the rich never have to.
